The metal is solid and the fold keeps it tight to the wall. My only gripe is the holes are fixed, so if your tools are an odd size you have to shuffle them around. Took me a few tries to get a layout that felt right.
Mounted one inside my camper toolbox cabinet where the wall has a solid backing. Holds a small drill and a few drivers so nothing slides around on the road. Light enough that it doesn't add much weight.
I tried hanging my full tool bag on the hook rail and it sagged, so I took it off. The listing does say keep heavy stuff off it, so I can't be too upset. For hand tools it works well and looks tidy.
I had a pile of screwdrivers and two pairs of pliers spread across the bench. All of it hangs now. The hook rail under the plate is the part I didn't expect to use as much as I do. Long screwdriver fits on it fine.
I almost ordered without checking my wall and I was 2 inches short of clearance in front because of a cabinet. Moved it to a different wall and it's great. The 1.8 in depth is real, so check before you drill.
I mounted it just above the bench so everything is at eye level. Drill in the top hole, pliers below, tape measure on the hook. First time in years I finished a repair without walking to the other side of the garage.
The plate itself is sturdy and the holes sizes are handy, but I had to run to the hardware store for masonry anchors since my wall is brick. Nothing wrong with the product, just an extra errand and cost. Mounted fine once I had them.
My shed gets damp and my old pegboard hooks rusted within a year. This plate has been up since March with no spotting at all. Metal feels thicker than the price suggests. I'll buy another if I run out of wall.
The 15.7 x 5.7 dimensions are accurate but it holds less than I imagined. I fit about eight tools on it before it felt full. Still a good upgrade from a messy drawer, just don't expect it to swallow a whole toolbox.
Two screws into a stud, done. I did not need anchors because my stud was right where I wanted it. It holds a drill, two pliers and a set of hex keys. Stays flat, no wobble when I pull a tool off.
My husband's wrenches lived in a coffee can on the floor. Now they hang on the hook rail and the metric set sits in the plate holes. He grumbled about me rearranging until he used it, then he stopped grumbling.
My fault for not checking, but my garage wall is drywall with nothing behind it and this needs a stud or brick. I ended up adding a backer board first, which cost me an extra trip. Once mounted it works fine for drivers and pliers.
I have a light gray shop wall and the finish blends in better than I expected. Sits 1.8 in off the surface so I don't bump it walking past. Hung it in about 15 minutes with a level and a drill.
Had one in the shed for two months and liked it enough to order another for the garage. Same install, same result. Two plates now hold screwdrivers, pliers, a small hammer and my box cutter. Wall space is doing work that drawers used to.
Solid metal for 1.8 lb, folds almost flat against the wall which I like. Took off one star because there's no load rating anywhere, so I keep it to hand tools and don't hang my cordless drill with the big battery. Fair for the price.
Wasn't sure about six hole sizes but the 0.39 slot grabs my nut drivers and the bigger ones hold the adjustable wrenches without them tipping. No more digging through the bottom drawer. Mounted it on brick with the anchors that came with it.
I measured 16 inches of clear space between the door frame and the corner and this slid right in with a hair to spare. Hook rail holds my longer pry bar and a tape measure. Nothing has shifted in six weeks.
Spent 20 minutes on a ladder finding a stud and another 10 driving the screws, then loaded it up. My drill, three drivers and a set of pliers all hang above the bench now. The bench top is actually visible for the first time in two years.
