Suction Cup Shoe Drying Rack, 12 in, 2 or 3 Folding Rods
Wet shoes sitting on the floor stay wet longer. Air can only reach the top of them, and the floor under them stays damp. This rack hangs on the wall and holds shoes out in the open so air moves around all sides. The rods fold out when you need them and fold back flat when you do not, about 2.8 in deep against the wall. The suction pad is 2.4 in across and twists to lock. No drilling and no screws, so it works in a rental or anywhere you would rather not put holes in the wall.
Best for: tile, glass, painted metal and mirrored cabinet doors. Those are the smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces the suction pad grips. Hang it on a bathroom wall, a laundry corner, the side of a wardrobe or near a balcony rail and let trainers and slippers dry after rain or a run. The base rotates, so you can angle the rods to fit the spot. Not ideal for: textured plaster, unfilled grout lines or wallpaper. The pad needs a flat surface to seal against, and it will not hold on those. It also will not work as a floor rack, since it is made to hang.
How to choose: the two-rod version has 2 folding arms with 12 in bars and drops 10.6 in from the wall. The three-rod version has 3 folding arms, the same 12 in bars, and drops 12.2 in. More rods means more pairs drying at once and a slightly deeper reach into the room. Both come in gunmetal or cream white. The supplier does not publish a load capacity, so there is no weight rating to compare. The supplier also lists the material as other and does not name the metal.
In the box: one rack with the folding rods and the twist-to-lock suction base. Nothing else is needed to mount it.
