Rolling Storage Basket for Yoga Mats and Laundry, 9.8 or 11.8 in Wide
The narrow strip beside the washer. The gap between the closet and the wall. The spot under the desk where the yoga mat and the dumbbells end up in a pile. This open-top basket on four swivel casters rolls into that strip and holds tall, light, awkward items upright.
Best for: yoga mats, foam rollers, badminton and tennis rackets, balls, rolled towels, the laundry pile, kids' stuffed toys. Anything tall and light that will not stand up on its own. It also fits narrow gaps from 9.8 in wide.
Not ideal for: gaps narrower than 9.8 in. Bathrooms, balconies or anywhere it stays wet. Anything you need closed up, because there is no lid. Heavy loads, because the maker does not publish a load rating.
How to choose: Measure the clear width of your gap first. It has to be wider than the basket plus a little room for the casters. Small: 18.1 x 9.8 x 15.7 in. Large: 23.6 x 11.8 x 23.6 in. The first number is length, the second is width, the third is height. Width is what decides whether it slips into a gap.
In the box: One basket, flat in a slim carton. It sets up by hand in a couple of minutes. No assembly tools, no drilling, no wall fixing.
PP (polypropylene) frame, rods and base tray. It is plastic, so it wipes clean and does not mind damp laundry going in. It is not waterproof, weatherproof or rustproof. Shipped weight for one basket, packaging included: 1.4 lb for the small size, 1.9 lb for the large size. This is the shipped weight, not the bare basket weight. Load capacity is unknown; the maker gives no tested figure.
