Quality is good and the height adjustment is handy. But I needed it for a 30 inch gap and the longest version barely reaches. It works if the walls are dead straight. Mine bow slightly so I had to shim it. Fair product, just tight tolerances.
My bathroom cabinet is deep and tall with one useless shelf. This turned the upper half into two usable tiers. I keep backup toiletries on the top and towels on the bottom. The steel panel wipes clean in one swipe.
I was worried the tension would loosen over time but it has held for about eight weeks now. Only small gripe is the legs left faint marks on my painted closet walls. Easily wiped off though. Does its job well.
I stacked three of these in my tall hall closet. Winter coats hanging below, then hats, then gloves on top. Same footprint it always had, just three times the usable space. Should have done this a year ago.
As a renter I cannot drill into anything. This solved my kitchen pantry gap where the shelves stopped too low. The legs press against both sides and hold a row of mason jars without slipping. Pulls out in seconds when I need to.
I have a 34 inch opening and thought the longest size would stretch. It tops out right around 33.5 and will not go further, so it fell out the first time. That is on me for not measuring. In my other closet it is great.
I used to have a mountain of sneakers on the closet floor. Put this across a 28 inch opening at the 9.8 inch height and now the top row sits above them. My closet looks like a store display now. Simple.
The white powder coat looks clean against my closet walls, no scratches or chips so far. My only note is the leg tension is lighter than I expected for a deep cabinet. It holds, but I would not pile bricks on it.
My bedroom closet has a 12 inch deep alcove that nothing fit in. Set the legs to 10.6 and it wedged right in. Now it holds my folded hoodies on two levels. Took maybe ninety seconds to install. Zero holes in the wall.
The divider itself is fine and the tension holds well against the walls. My issue is my cabinet has a little lip at the bottom so the legs sit on an uneven surface and it tilts a touch. On a flat shelf it would be perfect.
Used the shortest size in a narrow wardrobe for my t-shirts. Worked so well I came back and got another for the pantry gap between the wall and the fridge. Same easy setup both times. No tools, no swearing.
It does exactly what it says but only if your opening is tall enough. My first spot was a low cabinet and the 7.5 inch setting was already too much. Moved it to the coat closet and it was perfect. Just check your height first.
I have had cheap plastic shelves before that sagged after a month. This is powder coated steel and it feels like it. Been loaded with heavy sweaters for six weeks now and the panel has zero bow in it. Worth the extra few bucks.
Above my washer and dryer there was a deep cabinet with one silly tall shelf. I stacked two of these in there. Detergent pods on one level, dryer sheets and stain sticks on the other. Wipes clean with a damp rag.
I ordered the longest version for a 32 inch gap and it fits, but the legs are pretty stiff to extend all the way out. Once it was in it was solid. Just be ready to push hard on the tension. Holds my boots fine now.
My linen closet had one tall shelf that wasted a ton of air. I measured the inside width at 22 inches and got the middle size. Now I have folded towels on the bottom and washcloths on the top tier. Feels sturdy, no wobble.
I was nervous about anything that needed screws in my apartment. This needs zero. Took it out of the box, set the legs at 7.5 inches, and it was holding a stack of jeans within five minutes. When I move out it comes right back out.
I have a weird 14.5 inch gap next to my water heater that was just collecting dust. This wedged in there in about a minute and now holds all my cleaning supplies on two levels. The legs really do push out hard against both sides, it has not budged.
