A floor jack is heavy, and it never has a home. Mine sat in the middle of the bay for two years, and every time I rolled the creeper out I hit the wheels. This bracket puts the jack on the wall, tube first, so the floor stays clear.

The plate is 10 in wide and bolts flat to the wall. The jack hangs by its round tube in the cradle, and the second piece holds the pump handle upright so it stops sliding behind the toolbox. One bracket, one handle holder, no shelf.

Four holes, four screws. If you can find two studs or a block wall, you can hang this in ten minutes. On drywall with nothing behind it, use the anchors in the box and keep the jack light.

Best for:

  • Horizontal hydraulic jacks with a round tube
  • Garage walls next to the toolbox or the workbench
  • Trailers and shops where floor space is spoken for
  • Wood studs, block or concrete

Not ideal for:

  • Bottle jacks or scissor jacks, which have no tube to hang from
  • Hollow drywall with no stud and no anchor
  • Ceiling mounting, the cradle opens upward
  • Jacks heavier than the 110 lb the maker rates it for

How to choose:

Look at your jack. If the pump handle is a round bar that runs through the frame, this fits. Measure that bar: the cradle opening is 1.7 in across. Flat bar handles with no tube will not sit in it.

Then check the weight. The maker rates the bracket at 110 lb. A 3 ton steel jack is usually under that, a 5 ton jack often is not, so weigh yours before you drill.

In the box:

One wall plate, one handle holder, four screws and four wall anchors. A drill and the right bit are on you.
