Wall-Mount Chainsaw Hanger, Steel Hook, 3.5 in Deep, 1 or 2 Pack
My chainsaw lived on the floor under the bench, bar out, waiting for a boot. The bar oil leaked onto the concrete and the saw picked up sawdust every time I swept. Hanging it fixed both problems in one move.
The saw goes in by its rear handle. The hook is 3.54 in deep, so the body clears the wall and the bar hangs straight down instead of sticking out where you walk. Two screws hold it, and the plate spreads the load across four holes.
Mount it at chest height. High enough that the bar clears the floor, low enough that you can lift the saw off with one hand. If you run two saws, the 2-Pack puts them side by side on the same wall.
Best for:
- Gas and electric chainsaws with an open rear handle
- Garage, shed and trailer walls
- Keeping the bar off the floor so it stays out of the dust
- Wood studs, block or concrete
Not ideal for:
- Saws with a closed handle loop, the hook has to pass through
- Pole pruners and long trimmers, the shaft is too long for the slot
- Hollow drywall with no stud and no anchor
- Ceiling or rafter mounting
How to choose:
Put a tape across the opening inside your saw's rear handle. If the hook can pass through it, the saw will hang. Saws with a full wrap handle usually fit, small top-handle saws often do not.
One hanger holds one saw. The 2-Pack is for the second saw, or for the trimmer and the blower on the same wall, as long as the handle is open.
In the box:
One or two hangers, plus two screws and two wall anchors for each. You bring the drill.
