Pull-Out Pants Rack, Two-Section Beaded Rail, 9.8-19.7 in
Pull one pair of trousers off a plain rail and the rest slide down to fill the gap. This rail puts a bead between every hanger. Each one lands in its own gap, so the row holds its place - even when you slide the rail out 4.3 to 11.4 in to reach the pair at the back.
Best for: Closets with a solid shelf to screw the bracket into and 4.3 in of clearance underneath it. Trousers and skirts on hangers. Anyone whose current rail turns into a sliding mess the moment they touch it. Pantries, laundry rooms and utility closets with a spare shelf going unused.
Not ideal for: Rod-only closets with nothing overhead to screw into. Wire-rack shelves, because the flat bracket feet need a solid face. Gaps shorter than 4.3 in. Very light shelves that will not take a 1.5 lb rail.
How to choose: Match the rail to the depth of your shelf - 9.8, 13.8 or 19.7 in. Then check two clearances: 4.3 in of height underneath, and 4.3 to 11.4 in of room in front, because that is how far the rail slides out. All three lengths ride the same bracket, so the mounting does not change with size. Silver and black cost the same.
In the box: One rail set - the bracket, the aluminium body and the beaded bar. Weight runs from 0.80 lb on the 9.8 in rail up to 1.54 lb on the 19.7 in.
