Non-Slip Shoulder Hanger, 16.5 in Wide, Curved Shoulder, 5 or 10 Pack
I stopped buying thin wire hangers after one too many shirts came back with pointed shoulders and a stretched collar. This one is shaped like an actual shoulder: the curve spreads the weight instead of pinching it into two points, and the vinyl dip coating grips silk and satin well enough that nothing ends up on the closet floor.
Shoulder width is 16.5 in and the body is 0.5 in thick, so a full stack of them hangs almost flat against the rod. That is the part I did not expect to care about — I got about two extra inches of rod back when I swapped out my old hangers.
Best for: Shirts, blouses and light knitwear; Silk, satin and anything slick that normally slides off a hanger; Small closets where hanger thickness eats the rod.
Not ideal for: Heavy winter coats — use a wide wooden hanger for those; Wet laundry straight out of the wash.
How to choose: Count what is in the closet and add a few spare. Five covers one person's shirts; ten covers a shared closet or a full laundry rotation.
In the box: 5 x non-slip shoulder hanger, 16.5 in wide, or 10 x in the larger pack; Nothing else — no clips and no assembly.
The maker lists no load rating for this hanger, so there is no number for me to quote here. Normal shirts and light knits are fine; skip the parkas.
