Wall-Mount Garden Hose Holder, 12 in Steel Hook, Spigot or Wall

Every summer I did the same thing: drag the hose out, water the beds, then drop the whole wet mess in the grass because there was nowhere to put it. Twenty minutes later it had found a rose bush and tied itself in a knot. This hook is what stopped that.

It is a single piece of powder-coated steel, 12 in tall and 4 in deep, with a wide J at the top and a small shelf at the bottom so the coil sits in it instead of sliding off. Two ways to hang it: drop the top hook straight over an outdoor spigot, no tools, no drilling, or screw the back plate to a post, fence or garage wall with the two screws in the box.

The hook opening is 2 in, so it clears a standard outdoor faucet handle. The plate is 3 in wide, which is narrow enough to fit between siding boards or on the side of a deck post.

Best for: an outdoor spigot that has nothing near it, a fence post by the garden, or a garage wall where the hose lives all summer.

Not ideal for: hoses that are still pressurised and full of water (drain them first, or the coil sags), and walls with nothing solid behind them if you plan to screw it in.

How to choose: measure the gap between the spigot and the ground. Twelve inches is enough for a coil of 5/8 in hose to hang clear of the ground. If your spigot sits low, screw it to the wall instead of hanging it.

Powder-coated, so it will not rust through a season of rain. Nothing to assemble.
