Folding Wall Drying Rack, 15.7 in Aluminium Arms, No-Drill

If your flat has no balcony and the drying rack lives in the bath, this is the version that gets out of the way. Two aluminium arms fix to the wall, a bar drops between them, and the washing goes on. Fold the arms back and the whole set is 1.8 in deep, sitting flat against the wall until you need it again.

Best for: Rentals and small flats where the wall is the only free surface left. Bathrooms, utility corners, window walls, narrow balconies. Anyone who is tired of a floor rack taking up the only bit of floor they have.

Not ideal for: Unsealed brick or rough render, curved or slatted railings, walls that stay damp, and anywhere the arms would cross a blind or shutter.

How to choose: The two arms are 15.7 in long and the bar that drops between them is 15.7 in. Both arms have to land on the same level line, so measure that run before you start. Folded, the set is 1.8 in off the wall.
