Desk Marker Organizer, 8.3 or 11.8 in Wide, Pull-Out Drawer
Markers, pens, scissors, a ruler - they all land on the desk and then spread out until there is no clear space left. This is one unit that gives each of them a home: a run of marker slots at the back, open slots at the front for pens and scissors, and a full-width drawer underneath for the small things that do not stack.
It is built from wood-plastic board, a dense board that wipes clean with a damp cloth. The maker joins the panels with a mortise-and-tenon fit, so they slot into each other and the whole unit ships flat in one box.
Best for: a home office, a studio desk or a study corner where the marker collection has outgrown the cup. Three levels, and the two widths cover a narrow writing desk up to a wide work surface.
Not ideal for: a desk with less than 8.3 in of clear space, or anywhere it needs to hang on a wall - it is made to sit on a surface. Do not put heavy books, a laptop or a printer on top.
How to choose: the 6-slot version is 8.3 in wide and 10.2 in tall, for a narrow desk. The 8-compartment version is 11.8 in wide (30 cm) and 9.8 in tall, and takes more markers per row. Both are 5.9 in deep and both have the drawer.
In the box: one flat-packed organizer - panels, drawer and runners. The panels slot together, so there is nothing extra to buy.
