Wall-Mount Caulk Tube Rack, 12 Slots, 15.6 in Wide, Steel
Caulk tubes are the messiest thing on a workshop bench: round, top-heavy, and always one nudge from rolling onto the floor. This rack takes them off the bench entirely. Twelve holes hold the tubes upright with the nozzles pointing down through the bottom plate, so the tip you need is the first thing you see.
The rack is cold-rolled steel, 15.6 in wide, and mounts flat against the wall on the back plate. Load it from the top: the tube drops through a 2.2 in hole and the nozzle hangs through the 1.2 in opening below. Nothing rattles around, and you can read the label on every tube without picking it up.
Best for:
- Standard 10 oz caulk and sealant tubes
- 29 oz sausage packs and larger cartridges
- Workshop walls, garage bays and job-site trailers
- Screwing into studs, block or plywood
Not ideal for:
- Tubes wider than 2.2 in
- Hollow doors or drywall with nothing behind it
- Paint cans or hand tools, which do not fit the holes
- Exposed outdoor walls where rain hits it
How to choose:
Measure one tube across the body, not the nozzle. If it is 2.2 in or under, it drops in. Then measure the wall: the rack needs 15.6 in of width and 6.3 in of height, and you want it at chest height so you can pull a tube out one-handed.
Count how many tubes you keep open at once. Twelve slots covers a typical cartridge collection with room for the odd tube of adhesive. If you only ever run two or three, this is more rack than you need.
In the box:
One steel rack, eight screws and eight wall anchors. You supply a drill and a level.
