Keep books upright instead of letting them lean across your desk. This slotted steel book rack slides wider or narrower, then holds the setting in place.

It adjusts from 11.6-19.1 in (29.5-48.5 cm). The rack is 9.8 in (25 cm) deep and 10.6 in (27 cm) high. It is made from powder-coated steel.

Best for: Home offices, study desks, kids' rooms and reading corners. It stands on a desk or shelf, with no drilling into the desk or wall. The frame bolts together with the supplied screws.

Not ideal for: Kitchen or bathroom use. It also does not fit surfaces narrower than 11.6 in or shallower than 9.8 in, or spaces with less than 10.6 in of height clearance. The maker does not publish a load rating.

How to choose: Measure the available desk or shelf width. Make sure it is at least 11.6 in wide and 9.8 in deep. Then check for about 10.6 in of clearance above the surface.
