Adjustable Rolling Base for Bins and Crates, 16.5-20.9 in, 4 Casters

A bin that sits on the floor in a corner stays where you put it. You end up digging around behind it. This base puts the bin on four casters so it rolls out to the front.

The frame is two rails that slide inside each other. Set the length and width to match the bin, basket or light appliance you already own. The Long footprint adjusts 16.5 to 20.9 in (42 to 53 cm) long and 9.4 to 13.4 in (24 to 34 cm) wide. The Square footprint adjusts 9.4 to 13.4 in (24 to 34 cm) in both directions. The frame lifts the load about 2.4 in (6 cm) off the floor.

Assembly is none. It sits on the floor as it arrives. No tools, no drilling, no wall fixing. The frame and corner pads are plastic, 100% new material per the maker. The casters are steel. It has four plain swivel casters. Colours are black or white frame with the same pad and caster set.

Best for: laundry rooms, garages, storage rooms, undershelf areas and tight corners. Good for laundry baskets, woven bins, plastic crates, cartons, dehumidifiers, fans and small boxes of tools.

Not ideal for: deep-pile carpet, wet or outdoor floors, appliances heavier than a person can lift, or loads with no flat base.

How to choose: Measure the length and width of the base of your bin, basket or appliance. Compare those numbers to the adjustable range of the footprint you are considering. The Long footprint covers 16.5 to 20.9 in by 9.4 to 13.4 in. The Square footprint covers 9.4 to 13.4 in by 9.4 to 13.4 in. Check that the floor surface is hard and dry. The maker does not publish a load rating for this base.
