foldable-2-tier-wall-shelf
Foldable 2-Tier Wall Shelf, 13.4 in, Carbon Steel, Black or White

The wall above my washer was the only empty surface left in that room, and I kept stacking detergent and a jar of cotton balls on the counter instead. Two screws and this shelf later, the counter is clear.

It is one back plate with two trays that fold up on hinges. Open, each tray comes 7.1 in off the wall, deep enough for a spray bottle, a jar, a box of pods. Folded, the whole thing sits 0.8 in from the wall and stops catching your shoulder when you walk past.

The plate is 13.4 in wide and 16.3 in tall. Carbon steel, laser cut, powder coated. The tray floors are perforated so dust and drips fall through instead of pooling, which matters more than it sounds in a laundry room.

Each shelf is rated to 20 lb by the factory. That is a row of bottles, a stack of towels, a toolbox. It is not a step stool and not a place for paint cans.

Best for: the strip of wall above a washer, a utility sink or a workbench, and any narrow room where a 7 in deep shelf is too much until you actually need it.

Not ideal for: drywall with nothing behind it, brick you do not want to drill, or anywhere you plan to hang it below shoulder height where folded trays become a head-banger.

How to choose: measure the width you have first. 13.4 in covers most gaps between a machine and a wall. Then find two studs — knock along the wall until the sound goes dead. If the gap is wider than 13.4 in, this is not the shelf for it.

In the box: one 2-tier shelf, back plate and both folding trays already assembled. You will need a drill, a level, and two screws per side into studs.
